Easter Vacation

Where did the week go? I think just a few more days off would have been nice. No school, no baseball, no scouts (except for the Paintball War we missed on Saturday, we did give Zac a choice, and he chose beach), what did we do with all that time? The boys spent a day riding motorcycles. Our nephew Jacob came and spent a few days, which was great, we haven't seen him in months. We spent a few days at the beach. On the way home from the beach we stopped and had an Easter Egg hunt with Madison. I didn't get any pictures of the riding or of Jacob, but I did take some good ones at the beach and a few of the happy egg hunters.

BEACH HIGHLIGHTS

Caleb: running from the waves, gathering shells, and wiping a monster size booger on Josh.

Josh: sleeping on the hotel floor (really he loved it), throwing up in the truck because Caleb wiped the boogie on him, and playing with friends by the water.

Ryan: looking for and finding the most sand dollars, playing wiffle ball in the sand, and getting his shoes soaked when he didn't run from the waves fast enough.

Zac: body surfing with no wetsuit in the freezing water, seeing old friends, having a bonfire on the dunes.

Mom and Dad: seeing old friends, breathing that wonderful ocean air, the water being too cold for anyone but Zachary (fewer drowning possibilities), being prepared for rain and getting sunny skies instead. Why don't we live there????
