Because I'm boring lately and have nothing to say, just gonna throw some pics out there.

Cakes
I go months without making a cake, and then I do a bunch (okay 3) all close together. This is what I've been up to the last few weeks.
The fire truck cake took many, many hours... the CHP car (Caleb's birthday cake, which he gave me very specific directions on...as in "I want an all white patrol car with the big lights on top) should've taken longer, and the difference shows. The princess cake was so much pink girly flowery fun!

Birthday/ end of the season cake
So, when your birthday falls on the same day as the end of the baseball season, you kind of get the short end of the stick, as far as cakes go! Happy birthday Josh, and great season Angels!
PS, the numbered baseballs are the players numbers, just in case you noticed they're not in order, it's not because I can't count, it's what they had on their jerseys.

It's birthday time again
This year Laurie decided to buy a cake from Costco, and had me decorate half for Paige and half for Conner. All the fun and half the mess!

Cake
I know it's Ryan's birthday, but this is NOT his cake. I made it this week for a friend's daughter's 4th birthday. It is so fun to do girly cakes! (Ryan will have his cake next weekend when we do our family dinner, he wants a Dodger cake, imagine that)

A weekend in Vegas
We spent the weekend in Vegas for Cassie and Michael's wedding. We had a great time!

| The next day we went 'hiking" in Red Rock Canyon with Timmy and Kristina. |
and then it was time to go home :( We got together for one last lunch... In 'n' Out, for the poor folks who have to live on the East Coast without it (sorry Tim!).

Happy Birthday
Caleb is six today! How strange that feels to say, my baby is six today...
Caleb, you love baseball, and Spongebob, and the color green. School is fun, especially math, but the best part of school is playing with friends. Keeping up with your brothers is a challenge, but you never give up. You try to pick up after yourself and you are the best at brushing your teeth. You make us all smile, and even though you are getting all grown up, you are still willing to snuggle on the couch, (as long as we are watching cartoons of course). We love you! Happy Birthday!

Pumpkin time
This time I impressed myself. Then because I was so frazzled the only pictures I took were with my cell phone so I could send them to my mom. She blogged them and I had to steal this from her blog. Still, it is a darn cute pumpkin. Inside is a pumpkin spice cake and cream cheese frosting.

Madison is four!
Madison's birthday was Saturday. I can't believe she is four! She is a girly girl, she loves to have her nails painted, and try on high heels. She loves to play with her cousins and will try to keep up with my boys. Sometimes she shakes her head at them and sighs, but I do that too so I understand! I am so glad she is part of our family. Happy birthday Miss Madi!
Josh's baptism was Saturday, so we tried to make it a special day for both of them.

Cupcakes, cupcakes... and baseball... and football
Josh's birthday is tomorrow. For his game last night I told the team mom I wanted to bring treats. I made baseball cupcakes, not too complicated, kind of cute.
Josh and Ryan both had games starting at 5:30, which is the same time Zachary gets done with football conditioning. Danny took the three younger boys and went to baseball. I took the cupcakes and went to pick up Zachary. I sat and waited, and waited, and waited(found a lame book on the floor in the truck and read), it started raining (normal Bakersfield rain, not a downpour or anything), I kept waiting, finally at 6:40 Zac walked out to the truck, we took off. Danny called, Josh's game was over, and so the cupcakes didn't quite make it. We got there in time to see the last inning of Ryan's game, which was really only half an inning because his team didn't have to bat. They both won, now they move on to the next round in playoffs, Ryan tomorrow, Josh on Friday.
