It's spring!! Well maybe not technically, but around here it is. The weather is nice and the children are wild. At least that's what the other mom sitting in the MRI waiting room, and I decided today. Why would I be hanging out in an MRI waiting room you ask? Because it's fun of course! Okay not really fun, but since we've been to the Dr. every week for the last month and a half a little change of scenery was in order. Ryan's been having semi constant headaches, I know, I know, semi constant is a totally contradictory term, (I say semi constant because it will mostly go away for a day or two) for about a month. It could be the cocci disseminating, or not. We've ruled out the simpler things, like sinus pressure, vision issues, medication side effects... so today he had an MRI done, with and without contrast. He says the machine was a little freaky, and then the needle lady missed twice and had to have someone else come do the last stick. Tomorrow he gets to go back to Dr. J for a lumbar puncture. Fun times. Valley Fever stinks.
Josh hurt his knee a few weeks ago sliding into second base. It was sore for a day or so, and then a little stiff. He had a cyst develop on the outside of his leg a little below the knee. Dr. K sent him to get an ultrasound, just to make sure that's all it was. It was pretty neat to see the ultrasound of something besides a baby :) He is wearing a knee brace and just waiting for it to shrink. He is still perfectly able to run and play and generally be crazy.
Caleb of course had his annual changing of the seasons allergies kick up along with a slight ear infection, we went to urgent care for that.
Glad we have good insurance.
P.S. Zach has been great.
