Had a conversation this morning about why we aren't buying lunch on "Pizza Fridays" at school anymore. Lunch prices went up again this year, so I explained that paying $3.00 a piece for him and Caleb is too much. I may as well go to Little Cesears myself and buy them a whole pizza. He agreed $3.00 a lunch is a lot, but wondered why it's that much for him, when his friend only pays 40 cents. I tried to explain about the free and reduced lunch program in terms a 10 year old can understand. Not sure I was successful, but he let it go.

We are lucky- ours is $1.60 for a full priced lunch. Kacy's friends asked her why she had to pay for her lunches because they all thought it was free.
